Waters, Inc. Is a fifth generation Kansas company. Originally founded in Junction City by GE Waters in 1905, it has since grown to eight locations across the state, operating as one of the nation’s largest True Value chains. In addition to their True Value stores, we own and operate the Earthcare Landscape & Irrigation in Salina, Waters Rental and Waters Party & Wedding in Manhattan and a full lumberyard in Junction City.
Shown below is a photo of the first company truck owned by Waters. It is a 1930 Model A Ford and was purchased new in 1930. It has been restored to its original condition and is even the same color it was then. Bob Waters learned to drive in this truck.
